The Resound Linx 3D 7 Hearing Aid is the second in the Resound Linx 3d range.
Main Features of the Resound Linx 3D 7 hearing aids:
The Linx 3D 7 features Resound’s older version of this technology, as compared to the ‘Binaural Directionality III’ version present in the Linx 3D 9. This older version still delivers impressive functionality but does provide the same level of spatial awareness provided in the LiNX 3D 9.
This function is only available in the Linx 3D 9, so as above, you may find it more difficult to identify where sounds are coming from.
Advanced Noise Tracker:
The 3D 7 features Advanced Noise Tracker II rather than Advanced Noise Tracker Ultra on the Linx 3D 9. Delivering less power and speech clarity than the ultra model
The Environmental Optimiser function in the 3d 7 adjusts quickly to changing sound environments but does not perform as well as the Binaural Environmental optimiser II found in the Linx 3d 9
Linx 3d 7 has 14 warp channels, the 3d 9 has 17 warp channels delivering a more natural sound in the LiNX 3D 9
Adjustable Directional Mix:
The Adjustable Directional Mix function does not feature in LiNX 3D 7 and is only currently available in the Linx 3D 9. The function allows you to set you to highly tailor your hearing aids function and preferences, instead of choosing from a wide number of general settings.
The Wind Guard function is less developed than the model 9 version. Offering inferior wind noise isolation compared to the LiNX 3d 9
