Clear conversations, from every direction.
Phonak EON Sphere E50 brings Phonak's dedicated HYPERSONIC AI processor and Spheric Speech Clarity 3.0 to the Standard technology level. It gives more budget-conscious patients access to Sphere speech separation without moving to E70 or E90. The difference is how the technology is delivered. E50 uses a lower maximum Sphere strength and the Spheric Speech in Loud Noise programme is selected manually. It also has fewer advanced features for focusing on speech in complex places.

Description
Phonak EON Sphere E50 is a rechargeable receiver-in-canal hearing aid designed for mild to profound hearing loss, depending on the receiver and acoustic fitting selected by your audiologist. Its main difference from a conventional EON R model is the dedicated HYPERSONIC AI processor, which powers Spheric Speech Clarity 3.0 for speech in loud and complex noise. The redesigned Sphere body is 25% smaller and 20% lighter than the previous Sphere generation. This directly addresses one of the main concerns some previous Sphere wearers had about size, while keeping the speech-in-noise technology that made the range distinctive. HYPERSONIC AI and the EON Platform HYPERSONIC AI and Spheric Speech Clarity 3.0 The dedicated processor is available at E50, but the loud-noise Sphere programme must be selected manually and works at a lower maximum strength than E70 or E90. AutoSense OS AI 8.0 The hearing aids automatically recognise common everyday situations and adjust the sound as your surroundings change. Core EON support Motion Sensor Hearing, WindBlock 2.0 and SoundRelax help with movement, wind and sudden sharp sounds without adding the advanced directional features of the higher levels. What Makes EON Sphere E50 Different? Sphere AI at the Standard level E50 includes the same dedicated type of speech-separation technology found in higher Sphere models, making it a genuine value option rather than a conventional EON R hearing aid. Clearer speech when you choose the programme When Spheric Speech in Loud Noise is selected, the processor separates speech from surrounding noise and supports voices coming from different directions. Useful everyday automatic adjustment AutoSense OS AI 8.0 still adjusts for calm situations, comfort in noise, speech in the car and media streaming. Help for outdoor and active listening WindBlock 2.0 and Motion Sensor Hearing are included at E50, so outdoor support is not limited to the premium levels. Honest value difference E50 costs less because Sphere support is manual and lower in strength, fine tuning is reduced and Speech Enhancer, SpeechSensor, StereoZoom 2.0 and Dynamic Noise Cancellation are not included.
Connectivity, Rechargeability and Everyday Use
Phonak EON supports Bluetooth Classic, Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast on compatible devices. It can stream calls and audio from compatible phones, works with the myPhonak app and supports Phonak Roger wireless microphones through RogerDirect. Device compatibility should always be checked before purchase. The official data sheet lists 22 hours of expected rechargeable use and up to 38 hours maximum. Actual use depends on the hearing loss, receiver, activated features, streaming, accessories and individual listening habits. All three E90, E70 and E50 levels include WindBlock 2.0, eight colour choices and ActiveVent compatibility where clinically suitable. These shared features should not be presented as premium-only reasons to choose E90. The IP68-rated housing is water and dust resistant, but the hearing aids are not waterproof.
