The Phonak Infinio Ultra Sphere i90 is Phonak’s most advanced Receiver in Canal hearing aid, designed for adults with mild to profound hearing loss who struggle to hear speech clearly in noisy or complex listening environments. This model introduces a significant technological step forward. It is the first hearing aid to include a dedicated artificial intelligence chip built specifically to separate speech from background noise. Unlike traditional noise reduction, which relies on software processing alone, the Sphere i90 uses a physical AI processor that works continuously in real time to identify and enhance speech while reducing competing sounds.
Dedicated AI Chip for Speech Separation
The dedicated AI chip inside the Infinio Ultra Sphere i90 focuses solely on speech separation. Its role is to detect speech signals and distinguish them from background noise such as traffic, music, or multiple speakers. This allows the hearing aids to deliver clearer speech in challenging environments and reduces the listening effort often experienced in noisy settings. Spheric Speech Clarity 2.0 is powered by the dedicated AI chip and works by enhancing speech from all directions, not just from directly in front of the wearer. The Infinio Ultra Sphere i90 intelligently switches between two processing modes depending on your listening environment. In full Spheric AI mode, the hearing aids deliver maximum speech clarity in the most challenging noise environments. Battery life in this mode is up to 11 hours. In standard mode, the hearing aids automatically adapt to quieter or less demanding situations and provide up to 56 hours of battery life on a full charge. This balance ensures excellent performance where it is most needed, while maintaining long battery life for everyday use.
AutoSense OS 7.0
AutoSense OS 7.0 continuously analyses your surroundings and automatically adjusts the hearing aids to suit the listening environment. Transitions between environments are smooth and automatic, without the need for manual adjustments. This helps provide a more natural listening experience and reduces the need to change settings throughout the day.

Features include hands free phone calls, direct streaming of music and media, and two way audio streaming. The hearing aids are also compatible with Auracast broadcast audio systems as this technology becomes more widely available. They also have double the transmission range of previous Phonak models and double tap controls allow you to answer calls or control audio directly from the hearing aids.

The i70 provides a more affordable option with reduced features.
