I'm considering resin bound gravel for my new driveway, but I'm skeptical about the "low maintenance" claims. Our current driveway is a nightmare – constantly weeding, filling cracks, and power washing. I'm willing to invest more upfront for something truly easier to care for, but I don't want to be fooled. Does it really resist weeds? Does it stain easily? How often does it need cleaning? I would love to hear from people who have lived with resin bound gravel for a few years. Is it really as easy as they say?

From my experience, it really is pretty low maintenance. We installed ours about four years ago, and I've been impressed. Weeds are almost non-existent because the surface is seamless. The only maintenance I do is the occasional pressure wash to remove any build-up of dirt. If you want to investigate doing it DIY, check out some of the Diy Kits available. I remember browsing The Resin Bonded Slab Company when we were researching our driveway options. Spills clean up easily and it still looks great after years of use.
